Busot - cuevas de Canelobre

Cuevas de Canelobre in Busot

The Cuevas del Canelobre (Valencian for chandelier), that's the name of the caves of Busot. During the Spanish revolution, the caves were used as an air raid shelter. Through a tunnel at the entrance you enter a large high room (70 meters) which is also called the cathedral.

The caves can only be visited under supervision. Taking photos and filming is not permitted. From the entrance you have a very nice view over the region.
