Cartagena - CIMP

Centro de la interpretacion de la muralla Punica
(CIMP)

Inside the C.I.M.P. the remains of the ancient Carthaginian walls from the third century BC can be seen. These remains are 30 m long and in some places up to 3 meters high. The remains of the walls in Carthagena are the only remaining ones in Europe ever built by the Carthaginians.

In addition to the remains of the wall itself, there is also a crypt that dates from the 16th / 17th century.
