Rio Segura

The river Segura flows into the Mediterranean sea at Guardamar del Segura. Along the way, the river passes in Rojales and upstream also in Murcia. The Rio Segura seems to be a much larger river in the center of Murcia than in the center of Rojales. Of course this is artificially laid out. Just beyond the center, the water is blocked by a dam, creating a wider and deeper river in the center. Certainly the artwork of the sardine in the water and the bridge on the Pasarela de Manterola are pleasant places to walk or to take some pictures. It is also possible to rent a rowing boat and make a trip on the Segura.
