Faro Cabo de Palos

Cabo de Palos is a small peninsula on the Southeast of the Mar Menor. At the extreme point of this peninsula there is a lighthouse. It was built between 1862 and 1864 with the recovered stones from a former watchtower that stood on the same site. This 43 meter high tower cannot be visited from the inside, but you can get close to it.
